Our History
105 Years Strong
Pine Bluff Iron Works was established in 1902 by Mike Shnable of
Transylvania, Austria. Iron Works began as a machine shop, foundry
and pattern maker. He also supplied the hospital with oxygen tanks.
C.W. Hogan, an employee of Pine Bluff Iron Works purchased the
company in 1941. His son, Bill Hogan, took over in 1958 after the
death of his Father. This is when the Iron Works moved from 2nd &
3rd Ave & Missouri to its current location of 5th & Missouri.
Robert Navarre who was a partner with Bill Hogan, took over the
company in 1978. Mr. Navarre is responsible for growing the
business into new areas.
